All Vig scooters offer a smart battery management system that automatically stops the battery from charging once it reaches 100%. It’s not necessary to stop the scooter from charging overnight, but scooter batteries are large and store significant energy. Any large lithium battery like those in e-bikes, EUCs, onewheels and e-scooters pose a certain amount of risk of catching fire, so we highly recommend not charging while unattended or overnight.
